S&M Make Up Artistry is brought to you from Professional Make Up Artist Shaneka M. Born and raised in the lively, thriving, multicultural setting of Miami, Florida. Shaneka grew up engulfed in literature, music, & dance. Almost immediately she fell in love with the transitioning trends of metropolitan life & the creativity that could be expressed through any artistic medium.
As a successful model in her youth she was enthralled by the beauty that could be enhanced with makeup. There was an almost instantaneous energetic & enigmatic power in the effect of makeup. With simple strokes of color & a slide of brushes a face became canvas and a person could be transformed into a work of art. The right eye makeup could cause intrigue & a bright lip could ensue seductive smiles. The power of makeup is limitless.
While working in nightclubs throughout Miami she became inspired by the glamorous trends of the city and took those inspirations into her budding freelance career. After growing as a credited artist in South Florida Shaneka aspired to further expand her work into film, print, and digital media. Her work can be spotted on billboards and busses around metro Atlanta and in notable magazine publishings working with renowned actors and actresses, celebrities and models. Currently she is dynamically splitting her time in Atlanta's booming film industry and her home of Miami regularly working, day playing and keying on larger projects, feature films and television series.
